About Vitamin Bee

Vitamin Bee create organic cotton garments that are biodegradable and will one day return to the Earth. All of their pieces are 100% certified organic cotton and they aim to make all of their products 100% plant based in the near future.

The t-shirts and tote bags that the brand produce are GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standard) certified and their beanies hold a OCS100 (Organic Content Standard) certification. The company represent fair fashion and have been successfully 'Fair Wear' checked meaning their items are made ethically and fairly.

Vitamin Bee use only plastic free packaging that is biodegradable or recyclable to remain as ecological as possible and also use Ecologi to offset their carbon emissions.

The brand also create phone cases that are biodegradable and will break down within a year when composted.

For each item sold, Vitamin Bee will donate 50p to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.

About Organic Cotton

Organic cotton is grown without toxic pesticides or harmful chemicals.

The textile uses 88% less water and 62% less energy to grow than conventional cotton.

Organic cotton is also softer as the fibres are longer, stronger and undamaged by chemicals.

This type of cotton is also biodegradable meaning it will one day return to the Earth and break down naturally without shedding microplastics.

Climate Impact

Vitamin Bee offset their carbon emissions with Ecologi and have so far offset 5.28 tonnes and also planted 82 trees!

My Review

I came across Vitamin Bee on Instagram and fell in love with their 'Save the Bees' tee so purchased it straight away! When the parcel arrived it was completely plastic free and all of the tags were either recyclable or biodegradable.

The shirt itself was amazing quality and super soft, it has easily become one of my favourite tees! I also purchased the 'Every Day is Earth Day' sticker which I need to find a home for!
